But as I said before, most of us are not seeking peace, but power. A long time ago, a sorcerer called "Ghurnoth Samanak" ("The mad sorcerer" in orc language) found a way to drain the essence from dead heroes and turn them into pure energy. These essences are capable of changing any average fighter into a powerful warrior capable of using all the abilities of one or many heroes especiality. Ghurnoth divided this energy into eight types of especialities found in six legendary heroes:
Sian D'lak - An elf that was born to save his people. He gave his life to guarantee the survival of his entire race. Thanks to him, the elves could run safe to a hidden forest in Ederon where they could live in peace for years to come. His energy has been divided into two classes: Hunter and Assassin.
Maderk D'tai - Was born in Chirkiel, she was an elf capable of creating the most amazing weapons on Ederon. Some say that she cast a spell capable of making the town invisible to non-elves eyes. Her energy has been divided into two classes: Monk and Paladin.
Zahnor The Terrible - Not all heroes are born in a peaceful way. Many, even with the potential, can easily unbalance the World. Zahnor was one of these heroes. Born in the human world and seduced by power, Zahnor killed thousands and was a tiran king until his last days before he has been mysteriously assassinated while sleeping. His specialties were the strongest weapons in Ederon. His energy has been used to create one single class: Gladiator.
Ghurnoth Samanak - As the legends say, heroes are those with ideals. Ghurnoth himself could also separate his life energy without sacrificing himself. A part of his energy could be used to create another class: Sorcerer.
Mohtarim Samanak - A high price was paid in order to separate Ghurnoth energy. The blast created a mirror image from his life that is nothing but destruction. Different from any other hero, Mohtarim just look for the destruction of anything in his way. A savage spellcaster with the power beyond anything anyone could ever imagine. This opposite energy also created another class: Wizard.
Lethonan The Great - Was born between humans. Lethonan has been trained since young by a mysterious man that he only referred as "master". This man knew since Lethonan was born that he would be a great leader and warrior. Lethonan led the human world and for a moment in Ederon, the world almost had peace. Lethonan was brutally assassinated by Zahnor while defending the last standing human town that wasn't hidden. His amazing leadership and spirit created the last known class: Knight
From that moment, eight classes were born. Classes that were used by many warriors, good and evil, to fight for their personal ideals, society or clans. The world found again the same destruction that it lived for many years, but this time, the hidden societies could finally stand up to defend themselves. The world found itself one more time into war. A war where everyone can be a hero, like legends, fighting for an ideal. Whatever "good" they believe into.
